Stephens Media Group offers an opportunity for students to apply classroom theory to practical work experience. Our internship programs are provided all year round. The program allows students to experience firsthand the reality of working in the radio broadcasting industry. Interns can test their creative talent, exercise their analytical skills and increase their understanding of broadcasting operations and trends. Internships are available year-round, and are 12-15 hours per week, with specific days and times agreed upon in advance. All interns must be enrolled in a College or University and receiving college credit. Students are expected to obtain and complete any forms necessary to receive credit for the internship experience. Stephens Media Group – Rochester will assist students with the completion of such forms and provide information concerning duties and responsibilities. Internships are available for WZNE-FM (The Zone @ 94.1), WFKL-FM (Fickle 93.3) and WRMM-FM (WARM 101.3).

Stephans Media Group is looking for part-time Public Relations Representatives or simply, “PR-Rep”. As a PR-Rep, you’ll be responsible for representing WZNE-FM (The Zone @ 94.1), WFKL-FM (Fickle 93.3) and WRMM-FM (WARM 101.3) in front of the public at on-site promotions and broadcasts. PR-Rep’s are expected to be reliable, responsible, and mature, so if you’re looking to “party” or get rich, please don’t bother responding. Additionally, you should have an outgoing personality and be able to maintain a flexible schedule. This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door.
